We're Back With Lots Of New Pieces & Premises!
26th September 2011 - We needed that break but we're back now with over twenty new (as 'new' as antiques can be!) pieces including Wardrobes, Chest of Drawers, Sideboards and even some Traveller's Trunks along with many more items.
Not content with all those new pieces of furniture we've also mananged to complete the move into new premises that will allow us to open up for customers so that you can have a good look around, coffee and tea included! As we're not there all of the time this is by appointment only at the moment so if you would like to come and see any of our restored items or those awaiting restoration why not contact us and arrange a time.
Phew, A Well Earned Break!
1st August 2011 - Over the last few months we've had rather a lot to do what with attending antiques fairs, moving to new premises, advertising in national press and lots of other things like buying and selling antique furniture! Our legs are a little tired and we've decided to have a break in August to re-charge our batteries so that we're fighting fit for the rest of 2011 with lots of new stock.
Never fear though we'll keep on adding pieces to our brand new section, Pre-restored Antiques and maybe the odd piece to our other sections!!
12th July 2011 - Kempton Park Antiques Fair
Put the date in your diary, Go Antique will be attended Kempton Park Antiques Fair on the 12th July 2011. If you would like to let us know that you're coming along, especially if you want to see a particular piece we have on our website, then why not tell us you're coming and we'll have the kettle on for you! Lets hope the weather stays nice and everyone has a good day out.
Updated Website and New Items Galore!
We've worked really hard to improve our website and changes have been made that will hopefully mean easier navigation and provide more details on the quality finish we provide for all our shabby chic antique furniture.
Not content with updating the website we've also added many new items, some of which include a Victorian wardrobe, a Victorian oak side chair, a French side table and a 1930's wardrobe & chest of drawers set.
Classically Finished Antiques Arrive
IWhilst we do love our painted furniture we aware of the beauty of more traditional French Polished antiques, as such we've just added two of these items to our growing repertoire. The first is a lovely Regency Pembroke table thats over 200 years and our other piece is Victorian darkwood card table, perfect for cool nights in playing a hand of bridge.
More Flexible Payment Options
Its taken us a little while longer to implement than we would have wanted but we're now finally able to accept Credit and Debit Card payments. With this addition we feel we've improved our ordering process and hope this helps our customers obtain the furniture they've always wanted. Selling Antiques Here We Come!
We've gone and signed ourselves up to the largest antique sales website in the UK and you can find us by visiting our new shop on their website. We're very pleased to be a part of the Selling Antiques community and we hope you stop by and pay us a visit at some stage to see some of our new items!!
What A Busy New Year
As the title suggests we're busy, busy, busy at the moment. By 5pm on Monday 10th January we'll have four new items on the website with another six being worked on in the workshop. The first four items will include triple and double wardrobes, a chest on chest of drawers and a large round table. Something for every room of the house!
Over the Christmas break we've also been busy creating lots of mahogany samples which you can request from our 'Styles & Colours' page for FREE! Many times we've been asked about the quality of our finish so we've decided to do the decent thing and put our mahogany where our mouths are, if you want to see how good our restoration process is just request a free sample.
December 2010 - Happy Christmas!
This month has seen us very busy on both the selling and purchasing front. Even through the recent spells of bad weather we have been very pleased to complete orders throughout England and have welcomed our first customer in Scotland.
So now we can look forward to the coming new year. The workshop is rather busy with our latest restoration projects.....four triple wardrobes, one double wardrobe, one large French wardrobe, walnut chest-on-chest with eight drawers, Jacobean style oak bedroom suite of wardrobe and two chest of drawers and an oak dressing table with mirror.
May we take this opportunity to wish all our visitors a very merry Christmas, a happy new year and we look forward to showing our new stock in January, regards Jon and Lee.
17th October - Malvern Collectors Fair
8th October 2010 - We've gone show mad!!! Having just finished our first show we've booked ourselves into the Malvern Flea & Collectors Fair to be held on the 17th October 2010. We've taken an outside pitch and hope to show off a few of our new pieces we've had in during the past two weeks.
So if you missed us at the last fair come along to this one!
A Fair Success!
5th October 2010 - The Bowman Antiques Fair was a huge success for Go Antique with lots of sales and some promising new contacts, keep coming back in the next few weeks as we hope to annouce two pieces of important information!!!
If you visited us at the show then thanks for all your interest and if you purchased a piece from us we hope that it looks perfect in your decor and gives you many decades of use.
1st - 3rd October - Bowmans Antiques Fair
21st September 2010 - If you've visited our website before you may have noticed that there haven't been many updates to our furniture pieces over the last few weeks, this is because we've been working flat out to get ready for our first antiques fair on the 1st -3rd October at Bingley Hall in Stafford. We're nearly ready for the fair with 20 new pieces of furniture not shown on our website to be offered for sale.
