Restoration Of A Victorian Table
We came across this sweet, early Victorian side table at an antiques fair looking pretty sorry for itself. The solid mahogany top had been used without coasters resulting in lots of ring marks and at some point a drawer had been made and fitted underneath, very odd.
It was decided we had to rescue it and give it a new lease of life. Money changed hands and not long afterwards it was back in our workshop being transformed.
The accompanying film documents the restoration and gives a great insight into what we do. This table may be small but whatever we work on always receives the same Go Antique treatment.
