About Go Antique
We set up Go Antique two years ago as we felt there was a gap in the market for restored antique furniture with a superior quality finish. There are many companies selling reproduction furniture and many companies that hand-paint antique furniture but we knew we could offer something unique, to our exacting quality standards.
All of our painted furniture is spray lacquered which is a very painstaking process involving much patience and skill to obtain a smooth and consistent finish. We believe the end result is far superior to hand-painting which often leaves visible brush-marks on the piece of antique furniture.
Now, we have sold over 100 pieces of antique, painted and shabby chic furniture and have dozens of satisfied customers all over the UK.
We’re two brothers who work closely together – Jon is a trained French polisher and has been restoring antique furniture for over 25 years. Lee runs the business side of Go Antique and we both have a great passion for this business.
